A5 puzzles
Got more space? A5 puzzles can be useful for more substantial publications.
Each ‘batch’ contains 10 puzzles.
Clock
Answer the 12 clues, placing them into the clock, reading inwards. The answers all share the same last letter. Then read round the outer circle to find the answer to a 13th clue.
Cloverword
Answer the clues, across and down, to complete this clover shaped crossword and see an example of where the answers occur in the Bible.
Code it
A coded sample is given. Enter the known letters and decode the rest to find a phrase.
Crosswordoku
Solve crossword clues to enter some letters into a Sudoku grid. Then solve the Sudoku in the usual way to find a Bible word or phrase – a clue is given to help.

Dice jumble
The words of a Bible verse have been jumbled. Use the numbers to find which row each word is in – then get them in the correct order.
Domino Chain
The eight-lettered solutions fit onto the dominoes, beginning at the numbered square – some reading clockwise, some anti-clockwise. Where dominoes touch, the letters are the same – a pair has been placed to get you started. When you have completed the puzzle, rearrange the shaded letters to answer another clue.

Eight-eights
The answers to the clues are all 8-letter words which need to be placed clockwise round their answer number but they do not all start at the same position.
When complete, reading across the circled letters answers a 9th question.
Ladderword
Each line has three clues for a 3-letter, 4-letter and 5-letter word answer. The 2nd answer is an anagram of the 1st but with an additional letter and the 3rd is an anagram of the 2nd with an additional letter. Placing the additional letters in the uprights of the ladder reveals two solutions on a theme.
Samurai MiDi
A Christoku MiDi uses only six letters, the letters appearing once in each row, column and 3 × 2 grid. The normal Sudoku rules apply to each of the five interlocking grids in the Samurai MiDi.
The hidden word will appear in each grid (but not necessarily in the same orientation) – a clue is given to help.

Spiral
Answer the clues, the first letter of the second word is the last letter of the first word and so on. Read across and down through the shaded squares to find the solution to a further clue.

Three-threes
Group three sets of three letters to answer clues. Arrange the final three to solve a final question.
Unscramble acrostic
The letters of words on a theme have been scrambled. Unscramble the word and place them in the grid – then transfer the numbered letters to find a Bible phrase.
Vowel-less
Your clues are words from a Bible passage but with the vowels taken out. You need to work out the words and where they fit in the grid to reveal another item in the shaded squares.
